Kennzeichnung der Rohrbahn/ Marked tubular tracks onal or personal measures. To this end, technical measures have to be evaluated and taken prior to organisational or per-sonal measures. Technical measures Technical measures help to establish a safe work environment as they are bound to have some results. Only by means of manipulation, users can deliberately neu-tralize or bypass them. These are: • Tubular tracks and the hooks must have an adequate size and mustn‘t be over-loaded. • Hook removals must be equipped with a safety. Additionally they have to be properly marked. The removal safeties stop the hooks from falling down when the load is removed. • It must be avoided that hooks derail in the pooling station. This can be done by means of guiding tracks, safety nets or grids. • The loading frequency is synchro-nized to the speed of the elevator. If it‘s not possible to ensure that the loading interval is exactly synchronized to the elevator‘s carriers, the position of the carrier at the elevator must be che-cked prior to loading. • At descending tracks with a strong slope, the hooks mustn‘t derail uncont-rolled. Furthermore, prior to descending tracks safeties must be mounted that prevent unintentional pushing along the slopes. Elevators avoid accelerating forces on descending tracks allowing for a controlled movement of the hooks. • Light sources in cold stores have to be positioned between two parallel tubular tracks. Hanging loads are likely to cast shadows on the floor. Adequate lighting of the floor can be achieved by means of proper positions of the light sources. • Manuel transport of sliding hooks on hook trolleys: The unloaded sliding hooks are manually placed on vertical tubular track pieces mounted at differ-ent heights on a trolley. The variant with empty hooks hanging at a height of approx. 160cm on an oval-spiral shaped tubular track with a descending slope and which allows the hooks to slide down independently is more ad-vantageous. This also avoids the task of hanging the hooks at different heights. • Simplified change of deflection rollers: Metal deflection rollers of the eleva-tors are exchanged for plastic rollers during maintenance works. They are considerably lighter and can be ex-changed by only one person standing on a working platform mounted on a fork lift. lel verlaufenden Rohrbahnen.
