Maja has developed the FP150. This is a new and portioning, grading and packaging solution, based on the technology of volumetric slicing. This complete solution is not only able to slice accurately but also places the portioned product into trays while allowing for different placement formations, all in one fluid step. The meat portions come only into contact with the slicing mould as well as the blade and are put directly into the trays. A separate discharge conveyor belt transports the individually adjustable start and end pieces out of the machine to make sure that all meat portions that are packed into the trays meet the desired weight specifications.
